Have you been searching for free ways to market your business online and generate your own business leads? Here are some proven methods to get your business growing.
1) Yahoo Groups – Yahoo offers a huge database of groups with a wide variety of topics and discussions. Search for groups which allow advertising and that fit the demographics
for your opportunity or products. If you are a stay at home mom and your goal is to market your products or opportunities to other like minded moms, search Yahoo Groups for groups using keywords, such as; stay at home moms, work at home moms, direct sales, home party plan, mom business, etc.
Note: When you join these groups be sure to follow their advertising guidelines. Some you can advertise freely in, others limit it to a certain day or days per week.
Keeping that in mind, also join groups that don’t allow advertising but provide a valuable networking opportunity. Join the discussions and use your signature line as your promotion. Most will allow this form of advertising when they don’t allow outright posting of ads.
There are also many MSN groups and now Google has started Google Groups, however, my research has found Yahoo Groups to still rank as the best.
2) Message Boards - Many websites offer a forum to post your business information or provide networking opportunities. There are many wahm and stay home mom type boards that you can post to, as well as, home business, and network marketing type forums. Do not spam a board if there is no ad forum. Again, join the discussions and let your signature line be your promotion. You will receive business leads from the people you meet here!
Now if your product is, for example a cooking related product, you should definitely search for forums and message boards that fit this product, such as a recipe swap forum.
Search keywords on Google and Yahoo to find forums that are appropriate for your business and products you are marketing. AOL also has boards too as does MSN.
Ryze is another great networking site with boards. There are newer sites like MySpace and Direct Matches that offer a different spin on a site like Ryze, however, I have had most success with Ryze so far.
3) Traffic Exchanges - I am not big on these, but I know others who swear by them. Most are free to join. One of the biggest and oldest is Traffic Swarm. You can do a search for traffic exchanges to find others. Business leads are naturally generated through this type of service.
4) Safelist – Safelists that are managed properly, can be a good and free marketing venue. The key is finding a good one. Do a search on keywords; work at home safelist, home business safelist, mom safelist, etc. Again, search for keywords that fit your targeted market. This is yet another source of business leads.
5) Pay Per Click Advertising – While not free, this can be an affordable and inexpensive advertising option depending on the keywords you select. You don’t have to go with the most obvious keyword as it will likely be the most expensive. Do a search for keywords that are less costly with the Overture keyword tool (mainly used for Yahoo, but I use it to get an idea for Google too).
You control the amount you spend and can set a daily budget when doing pay per click.
Here is the keyword selector tool:
http://inventory.overture.com/d/
searchinventory/suggestion/
6) Keyword Search - Another trick is to type in the keyword you are interested in on a search engine and see which websites rank high in the search. If those are sites that offer ad space, search to see what their ad options are. Some will be affordable and some can be quite expensive depending on their traffic. Again, not free, but many sites offer very inexpensive advertising options.
I suggest you ask for an average idea of their traffic before advertising, especially if it is expensive. Ask for an average month of page views or unique visitors…not hits. Hits are of little value and do not indicate the true traffic of a website. Most reputable webmasters will respond with their stats. Of course keep in mind we can’t see them so we have to rely on their quote. I have found most webmasters to be honest.
FYI - There are lots of mom type sites who offer advertising under $10 bucks a month depending on the type of ad you place.
Well, I hope this gets you started and gives you some ideas of ways to market and grow your business online.
To your success in generating your own business leads!

Well the answer is, “it can be” and sometimes even safer. “Well, I just don’t believe that”, you might say and if you read my article in it’s entirety I will try to explain my stand on this.
First let me tell you a little about my online shopping background. I am an experienced online shopper and yes I have had my credit card information stolen but, believe it or not, it was stolen before I ever used it online. I have been on both sides of the fence also; I have purchased products online and sold products online (both as a storefront and on auction sites). I will be happy to say I have had very few instances where I have been skeptical about purchases I have made online and never has my skepticism outweighed the money I save by shopping online. Below you will find the major points to online shopping safety.
1. How do I decide whether a shop is legitimate?
Determining whether a store is legitimate comes down to some of the same principles you use in brick-and-mortar stores. Can I easily contact someone if there is a problem? Does the location seem safe? Does the shop look professional? Do they accept safe forms of payment (discussed later)? These questions should also be used when shopping online. Always check their contact information and make sure it is readily available. Read about their history if it is available. Make sure they have a return policy, and a privacy policy (you can usually find these at the bottom of most stores sites). The store should appear to be a store you would feel safe buying from but this cannot be completely relied on without the other principles.
2. What can I do to make sure that I don’t get ripped off?
Just like in the real world, there is no guarantee that you will never be ripped off. However, there are things you can do to eliminate the chances of it happening to you. Make sure to read all terms of service, privacy policies, and shipping policies on a shops site before making a purchase. When purchasing from a shop and you are to the point where you are filling in personal information (i.e. address, credit card number, etc.) make sure that there is a little lock icon at the bottom right hand side of your browser and that the start of the address is “https://” instead of just “http://”. This shows you that you are making a transaction over a secure and safe connection. You can even click the lock to get even more information about the security. Always read all the fine print when making a purchase and make sure to print your receipt or confirmation as this could be your proof of purchase when making an inquiry to the store if there are any issues with your purchase.
3. Should I pay with cash that way they can’t get their grubby little hands on my credit card number?
I always use a credit card to make purchases online because I have the added protection of the credit card company. Credit cards are the absolute safest way to purchase because you have the legal right to dispute transactions made on your card. Along with my bank, the credit card companies will usually just return your money to you and go after the store or person who made the fraudulent sale. You should check with your card provider and I think you will find that they have a great policy on settling fraudulent transactions for you.
When you use cash or a money order with a fraudulent company or individual, they can essentially “take the money and run”. Does this mean I should never use a check, cash, or money order? No, it doesn’t. It just means you don’t have as much recourse if you end up getting ripped off and extra precautions should be taken.
4. What do I do if I do get ripped off?
First thing you do is cancel your credit card number if you think your credit card info has been jeopardized. This can be a simple call to your bank and explain to them your situation. They will usually work with you and pursue the store or individual who committed the fraudulent activity. If you used cash or a money order there are still things you can do but getting your money back may be a bit tougher. You should always report fraudulent activity to the proper authorities including the Better Business Bureau (bbb.org), the National Fraud Information Center (fraud.org), and anywhere else you can file a complaint.
If you believe there is an identity theft problem visit http://www.consumer.gov/idtheft/ for more info on what to do.
So yes there are bad things that can happen when shopping online but as with any shopping you can eliminate the risk by making informed decisions on whether you are shopping at a genuine and honest shop. You still haven’t answered how online shopping can be safer than traditional shopping. Well here is my take on that and it is strictly a possibility. You enter a brick-and-mortar shop and you find what it is you are looking for. The shop is respectable and well known in town. You head to the cash register and you hand the cashier your credit a card. He/she then swipes your card and has you sign the receipt. You leave the store. A few days later you find out that the person that was working the cash register was new and somewhat greedy sold several credit card numbers with the personal information that was available as well as copies of your signature from the receipt. This “cashier” step in the transaction process is normally bypassed when making online purchases.
You got to the online store?find your item?make the purchase over a secure connection with your credit card directly through a merchant service to your bank. In a brick and mortar shop it is similar with an additional step like this. You visit the local store?find your item?hand your card to the cashier? the purchase over a secure connection with your credit card directly through a merchant service to your bank. In the second instance an extra set of eyes are in the transaction. This example is not to make you more afraid of traditional shopping just to make you more comfortable with online shopping.
I hope I have helped you understand how to make safer online decisions and please shop safely.

Research has shown that earthworm excrement, also called castings or vermicompost, improves the aeration, porosity, structure, drainage, and moisture-holding capacity of soil.
Many studies prove that when compared to conventional composts, vermicompost is less variable and much more stable. Mixing vermicompost into the planting medium essentially eliminated the need for additional fertilizer in the production of tomato plugs as one example.
Studies show that earthworm castings increase height, stem diameter, enhance root growth, increase dry weight, and produce more flowers per plant than peat moss.
Redworm castings are the richest and purest humus matter in the world. Humus is believed to aid in the prevention of harmful plant pathogens, fungi, nematodes and bacteria.
One pound of worms can convert one pound of pig manure into compost in 48 hours!
Worms consume three times their weight a week or more. Red wrigglers are very active, reproduce quickly and consume their own body weight of waste every 24 hours. Therefore ten pounds of worms will eat ten pounds of waste in 24 hours!
Worm castings provide a rich source of a variety of essential plant nutrients.
Microbial activity in worm castings is 10 to 20 times higher than in the soil and organic matter that the worm ingests.”
How to use worm castings:
When planting vegetable and annuals line the rows and holes with about two inches of castings. About every eight weeks side dress the plants with one-half cup of castings per plant or one cup per foot of row.
For perennials work one-half cup of castings into the soil in the spring, middle of summer, and early fall.
For pots and hanging baskets add one-half inch castings to the top and water in. Then reapply every eight weeks.
Roses appreciate four cups of castings per plant.
If starting a new lawn add 15 pounds of casting per 100 square feet when sowing. Once established use seven pounds per 100 square feet.

Have you ever watched 5-year-olds play soccer? It should be called “Follow the Ball,” because that is what happens the entire game. The beginning of the game starts with players in assigned positions. However, as soon as the whistle blows, all the kids form into a big herd guided by a little checkered ball.
High school soccer is an entirely different experience. The players start in the same positions as the 5-year-olds. This is where the similarity ends. The whistle blows to start the game and the players…play their positions! What a difference a decade makes. As the players grow older and wiser, they learn that they must play their positions in order to be successful. If the defenders run up to play offense, then nobody is playing defense.
Even to non-soccer players, it makes sense advanced players learn the importance of playing their positions. When you have a defined position, your team knows what to expect from you. It is your job to deliver on those expectations. Although the thought of chasing the ball is tempting, strong soccer players play their positions.
Soccer serves as a great analogy for small businesses. Far too many owners want to chase revenue, much like the 5-year-olds chasing the ball. We all want to believe if you work hard at growing your business, you will be rewarded. We want to believe it, because it seems like it should be that way. Unfortunately, hard work does not guarantee business success. Smart business owners clearly define their position (or brand) in the market and remain committed to meeting the expectations of their customers.
Much like a soccer coach picks players who are strong in a certain position, customers pick businesses that are strong in their position. If the need is defense, the coach picks a player who is strong in defense. He doesn’t pick a defender who has a history of running all over the field chasing the ball. When customers want a specific service, they pick the business that has defined itself as a specialist in that area. Customers do not trust (or pick) a business that does everything and anything.
If you want your business to be “picked,” these are the two things you need to concentrate on now:
1) Select Your Position - Customers need to know what you stand for and be confident they can trust you. Having a defined position and remaining committed to it is how you establish the much needed trust. Can you easily and clearly articulate what position you play?
2) Play Your Position - K-Mart used to be one of the largest discount-retailers in the country. Along with (and possibly because of) stiff competition, K-mart tried something new. They started using celebrities to sponsor higher-end products. K-mart played the discount-retailer position since it started in the early 1960s. By leaving their position, K-mart confused its customers. Sadly, K-mart must now merge with Sears just to stay in the game.
Much like the 5-year-olds that score a goal because they left their defense position to chase the ball, the company that chases revenue may become excited about a new service or product outside of their position. Immediate profit does not always equate to long term business success.

“All companies have a culture. In order for employees to
function and succeed, it is essential they understand and
believe in the culture.”
- Bryce’s Law
INTRODUCTION
The subject of “corporate culture” seems to be on everyone’s
mind these days; from the college graduate entering the job
market, to the IRM executive who is trying to improve management
and productivity in his organization. It is the topic of
interest at social and professional gatherings.
The perceptive manager understands the importance of
establishing and controlling the work environment, including both
logical and physical considerations. Unfortunately, many
managers do not appreciate the concept of corporate culture and
how to use it to their advantage.
Corporate culture pertains to the identity and personality
of the company we work with, either in the private or public
sectors. All companies have a culture; a way they behave and
operate. They may be organized and disciplined or chaotic and
unstructured. Either way, this is the culture the company
has elected to adopt. In order for an employee to function and
succeed, they must be able to recognize, accept and adapt to the culture.
MEMBER VS. ALIEN
Have you ever noticed how people react to foreign visitors;
whether an exchange student or a visiting professional? The
stranger may be welcomed, but may never be accepted unless that
person can adapt to the norms of their new environment. If they
do not, the members will shun the stranger and reject the alien
from their culture. The same is true in business. If the new
employee, consultant or visitor cannot adapt to the corporate
culture, their chances for success are slight. The members of
the culture will reject the person outright and will work against
them.
The reason for this phenomenon is because people tend to prefer
conformity in their culture. Conformity represents a harmonious
environment where the behavior and actions are predictable. Most
people have a deeply rooted desire for a sense of order and
stability in their lives, which is what conformity provides. A
stable environment promotes self-confidence in the members of the
culture and allows them to concentrate on their work.
HUMAN PERSPECTIVE
Corporate culture deals with how we see ourselves and
others. We act on our perceptions, not necessarily what occurs
in reality. The culture greatly influences our perceptions and
behavior. For example, our values and beliefs may distort what
happens in fact. Gossip, propaganda, and a sensational press,
deals with what people want to hear, not necessarily what happens
in reality.
DEFINING CULTURE
Before we can alter the culture, we must first understand
it. Culture is defined as the characteristics of the members of
a civilization. Ultimately, culture defines the quality of life
for a group of people.
Culture doesn’t appear suddenly, it evolves over time as
people grow and learn. The older the heritage, the more
ingrained the culture is in its members.
There are essentially three parts to any culture: Customs,
Religion and Society. Each influences the others.
CUSTOMS
Webster defines custom as a “long-established practice
considered as unwritten law.” Custom dictates the expected
manner of conduct for the culture. It prescribes the etiquette
to be observed in dress, speech, courtesy and politics
(gamesmanship). Several companies, most notably IBM, have long
understood the power of customs. These norms are established to
project a particular image the company wishes to convey.
RELIGION
Religion is the philosophy of life and the basis for our
values. It influences our judgement in terms of what is ethical
and what is not. Although uniform morality sounds attractive to
executives, it can be quite dangerous if unethical practices are
allowed to creep into the moral fiber of the company.
SOCIETY
Society defines our interpersonal relationships. This
includes how we elect to govern and live our lives. Society
defines the class structure in an organization, from Chairman of
the Board to the hourly worker. It defines government, laws and
institutions which must be observed by its members. More often
than not, the society is “dictated” by management as opposed to
“democratically” selected by the workers.
INFLUENTIAL FACTORS
Obviously, it is people, first and foremost, that influence
any culture. In terms of corporate culture, the only external
factor influencing the enterprise is the “resident culture,”
which is the culture at any particular geographical location. The
resident culture refers to the local customs, religion and
society observed in our personal lives, outside of the workplace. The
resident culture and corporate culture may differ considerably
in some areas but are normally compatible.
Anthropologists have long known the physical surroundings, such
as geography and climate, greatly influence the resident culture. The
resident culture, in turn, influences the corporate culture. The
corporate culture, which affects the behavior of its members, will
greatly influence the resident culture.
SUB-CULTURES
Within any culture there are those people exhibiting special
characteristics distinguishing them from others within an embracing
culture; this is what is called “sub-cultures.” In a corporate culture,
sub-cultures take the form of cliques, special interest groups, even
whole departments within a company. This is acceptable as long as the
sub-culture does not violate the norms of the parent culture. When the
characteristics of the sub-culture differ significantly from the main
culture, it becomes a culture in its own right. This situation can be
counterproductive in a corporate culture, a company within a company. For
example, we have seen several IT organizations who view themselves as
independent of the companies they serve. They “march to their own
drummer” doing what is best for the IT Department, not necessarily what
is best for their company. Conversely, we have seen management regulate
the IT department as a separate, independent group as opposed to a vital
part of the business.
CHANGING THE CORPORATE CULTURE
Changing the corporate culture involves influencing the three elements
of the culture: Customs, Religion and Society. This is not a simple
task. It must be remembered that culture is learned. As such, it can
be taught and enforced. However, the greater the change, the longer
it will take to implement. It should evolve naturally over time. A
cultural revolution, such as the one experienced in communist China, is
too disruptive for people to understand and accept. As a result,
they will resist and rebel.
A smaller company can change its culture much more rapidly than a
larger company, simply because of communication considerations. In
addition, an organization in the private sector can change faster than
one in the public sector (such as a government agency), only because a
commercial company isn’t encumbered with government regulations. This
is an instance where a “dictatorship” works more effectively than a
“democracy.”
To change the corporate culture, one must begin by defining
the current corporate and resident cultures, including the
customs, religion and society observed. There are several indicators
for measuring the pulse of the culture: Absenteeism, Tardiness, Turnover,
Infractions of Rules, Employee Attitudes, Productivity, etc. All of
these can be used to gauge how people behave within the corporate
culture. To this end, we offer the “PRIDE” Survey on Corporate
Culture to assist in this analysis:
http://www.phmainstreet.com/mba/pride/eespcc.htm#survey
This is followed by a set of requirements for the culture
and a plan to implement them. In a corporate culture, a policy
and procedures manual can usually stipulate the customs and
society to be observed. Developing a corporate consciousness is
far more difficult to implement and involves considerable
training and demonstration. Great care must be taken to avoid
the “do as I say, not as I do” situation.
It is one thing to enact legislation, quite another to
enforce it. Without an effective means to monitor and control
the culture, it is quite futile to establish any formal policies
or guidelines.
SUMMARY
Management is much more than just meeting deadlines. It is
a people-oriented function. If we lived in a perfect world,
there wouldn’t be a need for managers. People would build things
correctly the first time and on schedule, on costs. The fact of
the matter is that we live in an imperfect world. People do make
mistakes; people do have different perspectives, etc. Management
is getting people to do what you want them to do, when you want
them to do it. The corporate culture is a vital part of the art
of management. Failure to recognize this has led to the demise
of several managers. But for those managers who take it into
consideration, the corporate culture can greatly influence the
productivity of any organization.
Within the “PRIDE”-Enterprise Engineering Methodology (EEM),
Corporate Culture is defined in Phase 3, Activity E, “Prepare
Organization Analysis”: http://www.phmainstreet.com/mba/pride/eespcc.htm#survey

A common recrimination by bushwhackers of the payday loan trade touches on the annual lending rate ordinarily charged on short term payday loans which can accrue to a multiple of the payday advance issued.
As is well known, the annual percentage rate or “APR” is merely a widely accepted metrics to tag the effective interest a borrowing customer would be paying as carried forward to one full year. APR endows us with an established support structure to realistically determine which expedient displays a higher or lower costs to the typical borrower, containing added charges that might swing in.Decidedly the annual lending rate may be considered a unquestionably rich mechanism applicable to financial investments covering at least 12 full months .Unfortunately, relating to short term payday cash advances the annual interest rates are decidedly beneficial.
To illustrate this point, let us compare a payday advance to jumping a taxi to get home from the train station. It will probably cost you forty dollars to drive back home by taxi. True, $40 can be called quite a bit of money to cough up for merely getting home despite which people are doing it since it is accommodating and it caters to a specific requirement. Ok, so everybody knows the alternative: hire a car for a whole day for only 40 dollars including as many miles as we wish.
So let’s say we do just that i.e. rent a car and drive it for about four hundred miles during that one day we’ve hired it. Obviously, the proponents of APR will advocate that everyone should annualize to get statistically valid comparisons… All right, so we’ll take the amount the taxi rider will charge us (to recall: $2 per mile times 400 miles) which tallies to exactly $800. The annualized equivalent of the car rental arrangement contra our taxi hire equals $40 against $800. Now, you and I know that car hire we chose wasn’t the optimal solution, in spite of how much more expensive the annual rates of interest would have tallied up in this particular case.
And the same holds true for payday advances. Because after all payday loans are limited to two weeks, they’re not annual loan agreements. The seemingly high “APR” doesn’t say much considering that this specific loan does not apply to one year. The absolute interest charge will actually be circa fifteen to twentyfive percent for the loan.

Sometimes when men and women decide they want hair extensions, they just make an appointment at a salon near them and go get them. While this approach may work sometimes, many times the end result is either damaged hair or a very unhappy extension client. If you are informed and prepared to get hair extensions you will avoid many of the common mistakes made when getting hair extensions.
The next step involves using the information you discovered in step 3, so if you are trying to skip steps—go back and do step 3.
Anyways, back to Step 4: Select a salon and schedule your hair extension consultation (and go to it). It may be advisable to schedule several hair extension consultations–even if they charge you. They usually apply this fee to the cost of the hair extensions if you go with them. This is money well spent. Hair extensions can cost from hundreds to even thousands of dollars, so a few $25 or even $50 consultation fees are negligible.
The best case scenario is to select a stylist that is trained and certified in several different hair extension methods. That way, he/she can tell you which method would be best for you. Hair extensions are NOT one size fits all. Different hair textures, different hair condition and desired length and look all effect the type of hair extension method.
To find a salon in your area, you can contact the company directly for a list of certified stylists. This is the BEST method to finding a qualified stylist. BEWARE: There are some hair stylists out there claiming to be certified and trained by XYZ Company, when in fact they are not. Always ask to see a copy of their certification, or call the company to make sure they are certified. We have even run across several stylists that have been ‘de-certified’ by a hair extension company because of numerous customer complaints.
Below are 10 tips for getting the most out of your hair extension consultation. Bring a notebook and write the answers down so you won’t get confused later when comparing methods.
1. After selecting a salon, schedule an initial consultation to discuss what you would like to have done and any concerns that you have.
2. Ask about what hair extension experience your hair stylist has and where they received their training. Are they trained in more than one method?
3. Make sure the hair stylist listens and understands your needs and concerns. Does he/she communicate well with you?
4. The hair stylist should ask you about your lifestyle, health, hobbies and your normal hair routine
5. An analysis of your scalp and hair should be done at the initial consultation to make sure your hair is in a condition for successful hair extensions.
5A. Ask what can go wrong with the hair extensions–attachment and removal.
5B. Ask what happens when things go wrong. Is there any sort of guarantee for the products (hair) or attachment?
6. Ask to see before and after photos of hair extension clients, ask for references and be sure to call them
7. Make a mental note of the workspace of the stylist. Is it neat, clean and orderly?
8. Ask how often the average client needs to replace the hair. This is very important for anticipating future costs
9. Get a written estimate for your hair extensions with an itemized list of the services required to achieve your new look
10. Get a written maintenance plan. Plan should include recommendations for products, grooming tools, follow-up appointments and any special instructions
Stay tuned for Step 5 of 6 to getting hair extensions!

Few road vehicles look as unique and stunning as Choppers. These customized bikes epitomize all things wild and creative in the bike world. In simple terms, a chopper is a bike, usually a Harley Davidson or Indian, which has several of its parts ‘chopped off’. This is done in order to make the vehicle lighter, easier to maneuver and more eye-catching.
Choppers started appearing around World War II, when soldiers returning home desired lighter bikes, like the ones they had used in Europe. In order to get the desired effect, they began removing unwanted parts from their bikes back home, which resulted in the “ birth” of choppers. Over the years, the concept of choppers evolved and was not restricted to only chopping off parts from the vehicle. Several people started customizing their bikes in order to suit their personal tastes. Customized chopper parts soon became a craze and took the market by storm.
The most popular chopper parts that bike enthusiasts tend to fiddle around with are the handlebars, wheels and tires. In most choppers, the handlebars are extended to give the rider greater comfort, especially during long road-trips. The wheels are often customized to add that extra bit of style to the bike. While magnesium alloy wheels are growing in popularity, several still prefer the normal spoke wheels. The most exotic of these wheels are the classic 160 and 120 spoke wheels. Tires are another significant feature of choppers. In most cases, the front wheel is narrowed down while the rear one is broadened to provide extra grip and stability.
Other popular chopper parts include fuel tanks, body frames, seats and front and rear brakes. Several of these parts can be further customized upon the request of the owner. Before making the purchase, one must make sure the parts are from a genuine dealer and are compatible with the vehicle. Although some of them chopper parts would seem a bit pricey, they definitely serve to highlight the beauty and individuality of these lovely machines.
Mini Choppers provides detailed information on Choppers, Mini Choppers, Custom Choppers, Chopper Parts and more. Mini Choppers is affiliated with Military Helicopters.

The majority of individuals in America heat their homes with gas or electricity. Many of those individuals mistakenly believe that gas and electricity are their only home heating options. The fact is that there are a number of home heating alternatives. One of those methods is the use of a wood and coal furnace.
The decision to purchase a wood and coal furnace is a large one. The biggest cost of owning a wood and coal furnace is the initial purchase; however, that purchase can quickly pay for itself in the money that you will be saving. The best way to decide if a wood and coal furnace would be beneficial to your home is by weighing the pros and cons of all heating methods. Once this is done it is likely that you will see the benefits of owning a wood and coal furnace.
Once the decision has been made to purchase a wood and coal furnace you will need to find out where they are sold. There are a number of home heating stores or home improvement stores that sell these furnaces. Making a purchase from a department store is easy to do; however, you may be missing out on other furnaces. The size of a retail store often prevents a wide variety of items from being sold. There are currently hundreds of different wood and coal furnaces. Purchasing one from a retail store may limit your selection to only two or three furnaces. For this reason, there are many individuals who make the decision to purchase a wood and coal furnace online.
The greatest benefit of online shopping is that you can compare products and their prices all in a matter of minutes. While using the internet to purchase a wood and coal furnace has a number of benefits it also has one fairly large disadvantage. The internet makes it possible for anyone to sell just about any item that they want. The purchase of a wood and coal furnace is not a cheap one; therefore, you will want to make sure that you are dealing with a reputable company.
The best way to determine if you are dealing with an experienced heating company is by visiting their company website. All reputable online wood and coal furnace dealers should have a company website that offers valuable information on themselves and the products that they sell. It is also important to make sure that a company’s contact information is displayed on their website. If you agree to purchase a wood or coal furnace you may need to contact the seller; therefore, this information is essential.
As previously mentioned, the purchase of a wood and coal furnace is a big one, but it is one that could save you hundreds of dollars a year in home heating costs. Why should you and your family settle with high come heating costs when they can be so much lower with the purchase of a wood and coal furnace?
