Many years ago hiring a divorce attorney was financially
devastating for many people. Divorce was for the wealthy. The
rest of us had no options. We had to beg, borrow, or steal to
find the money for an attorney. But now there are more options
than ever before for anyone facing a divorce.
Do Everything Yourself
“Doing everything yourself” has become an option in many states
with the advent of approved self-help forms. For example, the
state of Florida has produced a complete set of Family Law
Self-Help forms. These forms have been carefully reviewed by the
state Bar association and subsequently approved by the Florida
Supreme Court. Each form is accompanied by instructions on
proper use. Because Florida Statutes reference those self-help
forms, they are accepted by all Florida courts. Many if not all
states have adopted some type of self-help forms. You can
usually download the forms from your state court website or
purchase an inexpensive pack of forms at your local courthouse.
The advantage: the forms are free and you do not need a lawyer
to file them. The disadvantage: the instructions can be
confusing, complex, and difficult to follow. And you may be
sacrificing some serious legal rights without realizing you are
doing so.
Online Forms Preparation Service
The internet has brought major changes to the delivery of legal
services. One recent change is universal availability of online
forms services. For a fee usually ranging around two hundred
dollars these services will conduct an online interview and
generate a custom set of forms, ready to file with the court in
your area. These services are easy, quick, and as convenient as
the nearest computer. The better services keep track of changes
in each state and adjust their forms accordingly. The advantage:
the forms are accurately and neatly filled out at an affordable
cost. The disadvantage: same as “do-it-yourself - you are on
your own during the divorce. There is no advice or help if
something goes wrong.
Attorney - Forms Only Service
Florida and many other states have adopted a concept called
“Unbundled Services.” This concept is an official recognition
that many people want to hire an attorney for one small part of
their case. They have access to expert advice at an affordable
price. Many attorneys offer a form preparation service similar
to the online services. The key difference is the forms are
prepared or supervised by an attorney. The advantage: the
security of knowing the forms are done correctly by a local
expert. The disadvantage: you are still on your own during the
divorce. However, because you established a relationship with an
attorney, you may have access to the attorney for occasional
advice if you run into difficulty.
So Which Option Should You Use?
Divorce can affect your relationship with your children, your
present finances, and your finances during the next 30 years.
What you do now can affect your life for many years. The simple
answer: take the best option you can afford. If you can afford
full representation from an attorney - that is best. If you
cannot afford anything - the do-it-yourself method is best. But
whichever route you take: educate yourself, proceed carefully,
and educate yourself some more. Remember, knowledge is power.
The person with the most knowledge always comes out ahead.

Why do people buy your product? If you stack up enough benefits
to outweigh the costs of purchasing it, do you automatically
close the deal? It doesn’t always happen, does it? Consumers are
not calculating machines. They are soft, warm, breathing humans
with emotions that assign meaning and personal significance to
your products.
How do potential customers evaluate your products (or services)?
How do they trade off various factors before deciding? How are
their emotions involved in the process? Consumers–whether they
realize it or not–use up to six categories of emotional
criteria when they decide to purchase your product.
Technical criteria
Technical criteria relate to what your product does. Every
product performs a function. It may also perform additional
functions or have features that make it easier to operate or
use. If your type of product has been around for a while,
everyone assumes it will perform its basic function. Marketing
battles are fought on the ground of extra features and ease of
use.
Does your product perform its core function better, faster, or
more smoothly than your competitors’ products? Have you enriched
your product with additional features? Is your product easier to
buy and simpler to operate?
Economic/sacrifice criteria
Economic/sacrifice criteria relate to price. Consumers live in
an approach/avoidance world. Your product’s benefits are in a
tug of war with its price and the effort it takes to purchase
it. For most consumers, the psychological cost of paying for
your product reduces their enjoyment of it. Several emotionally
significant factors influence the maximum price you can charge
for your product.
How closely does your product relate to the buyer’s needs? How
unique is your product? Do you charge a “fair” price? Is paying
the asking price socially acceptable for your customers?
Legalistic criteria
Consumers are also guided by what others demand or want. Some
potential buyers must obey legal requirements and this loss of
control may be frustrating. Consumers also feel obliged to
consider the needs and desires of others, like their spouse or
children.
Does your product help your customer comply with any legal
requirements? Can your product be made more appealing to your
customer’s children or spouse?
Integrative criteria
How does your product or service fit with your potential
customer’s social group or personal identity? Consumers belong
to social groups. They face potential embarrassment if they
don’t conform. So they constantly try to strike a balance
between group membership versus visibility and self-esteem. Any
product or service that increases their self-esteem is
emotionally satisfying.
Does your product help your customer express their identity? Can
your product be described as “upscale” or “exclusive”?
Adaptive criteria
Consumers want to minimize any risk that they will regret their
purchase later. The easiest solution is to avoid responsibility
completely and trust the advice of others, preferably an expert.
Consumers also lower their risk of future regret by imitating
the buying habits of others that they assume are “in the know,”
by looking for guarantees, or by basing their decision on your
reputation.
Are you able to offer endorsements from recognized experts? Do
you have testimonials from satisfied customers? Do you offer a
strong guarantee? Is it possible to offer a free trial or sample?
Intrinsic criteria
Intrinsic criteria relate to your product’s basic nature–how
much the consumer “likes” your product. Appeal to your
customer’s senses. How does your product look, feel, taste,
smell or sound?
Curiosity is another intrinsic criterion. Consumers are always
looking for something new and different. Familiar products are
reassuring, but they are also boring. The trick is to not go too
far. Every consumer has an optimal level of novelty and
complexity that maximizes their curiosity and their desire to
satisfy it. If you push beyond the optimal point, they will
return to the familiar.
Is your product “refreshing” or “alluring”? How about
“enchanting” or “elegant”?
If you focus only on rational behavior, then you choose to
ignore enormously powerful emotional forces that ultimately make
your customer’s final decision. The rational argument should
already be won by your product’s high quality design. Creative
innovation, savvy pricing, and persuasive presentation will win
your customer’s emotions.
*The six categories of emotional criteria were developed by John
O’Shaughnessy, and Nicholas Jackson O’Shaughnessy, The Marketing
Power of Emotion (New York: Oxford University Press, 2003).

Your dog is lost. You are worried and clueless on how to get started to bring your lost dog home. Follow these tips here and I’m sure it will increase your chances of finding your lost dog.
1. Make sure that your dog is actually lost - Search your house and back yard completely first. Your dog might just be too distracted by his new found toy in the yard.
2. Search around your neighborhood. Most dogs don’t usually wander off far from their house.
3. Use your voice - Call out his name when finding your lost dog. It is a more useful searching tool than your eyes. Dogs can hear a lot better than we do and the distance from which dogs can hear things is four times further than man.
4. Ask around during the search - Talk to people especially people walking their dog, because they are the group to be most concern and take notice with a wandering dog.
5. Alert your neighbors and people in your neighborhood that your dog is missing. You can put up poster at eye level and in areas where people frequent. You can also E-mail your friends to keep a “lookout” for your dog.
6. Put up or distribute useful information. A poster with a large “Lost Dog” and “Reward” heading might be most eyes catching. Also remember to include your dog’s name, breed, color, distinct features (if any) and ways to contact you like your phone number.
7. Call local shelters and pet related places within a 100 miles radius of your house. Leave your contactable number with them so that they can reach you if your dog turns up. Visit these places if possible to pass them a poster of your lost dog so that it can reach out to more people.
8. Post lost dog ads on the internet - With the ever increase use of the net. A lot of people have found their pets through this avenue. You can start off with FidoFinder.com and TerrificPets.com. Find more lost pet ads posting site on the search engine - Key in ‘find lost dog’ or ‘lost dog ads’.
9. Beware of money scams. There are people who are out to cheat you out of your money. Knowing that you are worried, it’s easy for these people to take advantage of you in many different ways. Think logically and ask for advice if necessary before you give someone money to return your dog.
10. Don’t give up easily. Dogs have been known to find their way back home after being lost for several months. Your dog might be just one of them!
Before you lost your beloved dog, it’s good to take measures to ensure that YOU can be located if your lost dog is found - An ID dog tag would usually be the most efficient and important form of ID for your dog.

Your big day is just two weeks away and with your crazy schedule
at work and at home and the fact that you’ve been eating poorly
and are all stressed out it suddenly occurs to you…”what if I
retain water and end up all bloated and feeling like a soggy
marshmallow in my dream wedding dress?”
You have spent countless hours planning and dreaming about your
wedding day which is now fast approaching. As you count down the
days the panic begins to set in. How do I prevent the all too
familiar pre-wedding bloating experienced by so many brides on
their wedding day?
Naturally, we as women may think, I will simply starve myself
and not drink a lot of liquids for a few days before my wedding.
If I do so perhaps this will help drop a bit of weight and
reduce some of that nasty cellulite on my body…right? Wrong!
Did you know that water retention is directly linked to what you
eat, drink and your daily habits?
Bloating is caused primarily by dehydration. The loss of water
in the body can cause constipation. And the corresponding lack
of bowel movements creates the tummy bulge.
Here are six tips to follow for at least 1-2 weeks prior to your
big day:
1. Drink 8 - 10 glasses of water a day. Drinking less fluid will
not cure water retention and can actually make it worse. So
drink plenty of water to flush the toxins from your body.
Cellulite is a form of fat with retained water. When the body
cannot get rid of the wastes and toxins it tends to store
cellulite.
2. Try to eliminate salts and refined sugars from your diet. If
you can’t eliminate these types of foods then at least cut down
on their use as much as you possible can.
3. Get some exercise. Go for a brisk walk, even if it is just
10 minutes. Movement helps you lymphatic system drain and gets
the blood pumping which increases circulation. Did you know poor
circulation can cause water retention?
4. Don’t skip meals. Much as you may think this is wise, low
calorie diets have been shown to increase water retention. But
do avoid high fat foods. Incorporate protein in your daily
routine. While you are running around getting all the last
minute details finished remember to reach for a yogurt, some
cottage cheese or make yourself a protein shake. One of the most
important nutrients to prevent water retention is protein.
5. Cut down on caffeine and alcohol. These liquids cause
dehydration, plus they are empty calories.
6. Take a good multivitamin. Find one that has a high content
of Vitamin B (12 and 6). Stress robs your body of essential
vitamins, plus you are probably not eating as healthy as you
should. Vitamin B is especially good to take when you are under
stress, or have bloating. I always take a daily multivitamin but
supplement them with a good B vitamin.
Of course it goes without saying that you should also try your
best to get proper and sufficient sleep during this stressful
period.
If you can follow these six simple, natural yet highly effective
guidelines then you’ll look better, feel better and be as
radiant as a bride should be on her wedding day. Take charge and
eliminate that unnecessary and unwelcome pre-wedding bloating!

EQ & Investments: Bull, Bear Or Human
Markets are supposed to be rational, but with an
economic system based on scarcity, how do investors
behave with emotional intelligence? Experts in
behavioral economics and emotional intelligence tell
us we sell winners too soon and hold onto losers too
long…
The ability to accept loss and feel the regret we might
have may be the greatest obstacle to gaining wealth.
Lacking EQ, investors are more likely to hold on to losers
too long. Why? We avoid the “negative” feelings, and rather
than feel the remorse, we want to move beyond it–into some
action that will give us back what we lost. The losses that
hit us hardest are the first few dollars we lose, so additional
losses aren’t as painful. With this increased risk tolerance
we tend to throw more good money after bad. We’re emotionally
wired to avoid pain. And, given a positive move or a negative
one of the same amount, there’s more intensity on the negative side.
We are more driven to avoid regret than to have pride. So while we
hold losers, we also tend to sell winners too soon. Rather than
wait for a small gain to grow, we tend to take our profits too soon.
Why? Because every additional dollar of gain gives us less satisfaction.
Investors are also resist change–even beneficial change. The more
choices we have, the more we tend to stay in status quo. The EQ of
investing would tell us –do your homework, pick carefully, determine
a minimal downside loss and upside gain. The EQ challenge then, is
self-managing the emotions that come with taking rational action in a
scarcity system.

A few months ago, I was pulling out of a parking lot when a huge
van caught my eye. It wasn’t the vehicle so much as the fact that
there was a gigantic television screen attached to the back. I
was so wrapped up in watching the screen that when the van pulled
out of my view, I finally remembered that I was driving, not in a
position to be paying attention to anything other than the road.
No, I’m not going to give you a ten point guide to safe driving.
The idea here is that our society is becoming more attune to
electronic information everyday, whether it happens to be through
computers, the Internet, or traveling TV screens.
More people are getting their daily dose of news or information
from CNN.com, or the twenty four hour a day news channel, or from
the radio on the drive home. It’s imperative to remember that
while print can still be a great form of marketing or public
relations contacts, our minds are much more used to pulling in
sensory information from electronic sources.
Furthermore, the intimacy of radio, television, and sometimes the
Internet can give you the upper hand when it comes to selling
yourself to prospects. Seeing your face, hearing your voice, or
getting to view the actual product are big factors in easing the
natural anxieties many prospective buyers have when it comes to
purchasing.
By having your face or voice appear on television, radio
programs, or on a web site, people start to feel like they know
you personally, which ignites a sense of trust. This approach can
also throw a little bit of fame into the mix, especially if you
are a knowledgeable authority in your particular field.
If you have the means to purchase paid advertising on radio or
television, all the better for you. But, if you are like many
small business owners, finding the funds to take on such a big
project can be a little more challenging.
So, why not try to get booked as a guest on a local TV or radio
show? Find out who the producer is, because he or she, NOT the
host, decides who will appear for interviews and such. The key
thing to remember is that you need to be accessible if you really
want to get booked.
The advantages to using sensory media are really unlimited: you
can create a personable, friendly image while demonstrating your
product and setting enthusiasm about your business. Of course,
the best marketing and public relations attempts are far more
effective when a mix of print and sensory media are used.

Affiliate marketing programs has never been as popular before as it is today. Why? There can be a number of reasons. The most probable reason, however, could be the fact that the benefits of affiliate marketing have become clearer to a lot of people now than they were before.
Today, both the merchants and the affiliates can see clearly that affiliate marketing can work for both of them. The merchant sees affiliate marketing today as the chance to advertise their products at a lower cost. The affiliates, on the other hand, sees affiliate marketing as an easy way of earning profits online by doing what they like most, and that is by creating websites.
Just as the popularity of affiliate marketing has shifted into greater heights, so has the people’s outlook about it changed. No longer is affiliate marketing considered today as an alternative method for the merchant to advertise his products, or as a source of additional income for the affiliates. For merchants and affiliates alike, affiliate marketing is now considered as a main source of profits and revenues.
So the question now is what type of affiliate marketing will work best for you? Are all affiliate marketing programs the same? Are the benefits the same? Or are there affiliate marketing programs that work better than the others?
There are actually different types or classes of affiliate marketing, and the number of types will depend on how one will classify them. The most basic affiliate marketing programs, however, falls under two categories: pay-per-click (PPC), and pay-per-performance (PPP).
• Pay Per Click (PPC)
PPC is the most popular type of affiliate marketing for affiliates with small websites, and probably the easiest way for them to earn money. In this affiliate marketing type, the merchant pays his affiliate whenever a visitor is referred to his site, that is whenever someone clicks through the merchant’s banner or text ads. The affiliate gets paid a certain amount even if the visitor he referred does not purchase anything from the merchant’s site. However, typical fees for PPC affiliate programs are small, usually not exceeding a dollar for every click.
• Pay Per Performance (PPP)
PPP affiliate marketing is the most popular among merchant and is also the most lucrative type for the affiliates. In this type of affiliate program, the merchant only pays the affiliate whenever his referral translates into an actionthat is whenever the visitor he has referred actually buys something from the merchant’s site or when the visitor becomes a lead. This means a lot of savings for the merchant. On the other hand, it becomes the most lucrative type for the dedicated affiliate, for commissions in PPP affiliate marketing usually comes in the range of 15% to 20% of the actual product sales.
Pay-per-performance affiliate marketing can be further classified into two popular types: pay-per-sales (PPS) and pay-per-lead (PPL).
o Pay Per Sale (PPS)
In a pay-per-sale type of affiliate marketing, the merchants pay the affiliate a certain fee whenever the visitor he has referred to the merchant’s site actually buys something from the merchant’s site. Affiliates are often paid on commission basis, although other merchants would opt to pay a fixed fee. But no matter what the basis of the fee is, it is generally higher than the fee paid to affiliates in a pay-per-click affiliate program.
o Pay Per Lead (PPL)
The pay-per-lead type of affiliate marketing is a slight variation of the PPS type and is often used by insurance and finance companies and other companies who rely on leads for their company to grow. In this type of affiliate marketing, the affiliate is paid whenever the visitor he referred to the merchant’s site fills up an application form or any similar form related to the business of the company. Compensation for this type of affiliate marketing is based on a fixed fee whose rates approximate that of the fixed fee in the PPS type.
Aside from these three specific types of affiliate marketing, a lot of other affiliate marketing types exist. If the classification is based on the depth of the affiliate network, it can be classified as single-tier, two-tier, and multi-tier affiliate marketing. There is also another type of affiliate marketing that pays the affiliate each time the customer he has referred purchases something from the merchant’s site.
• Single-Tier, Two-Tier, and Multi-Tier Affiliate Marketing
These types of affiliate marketing are based on the different levels or tiers in the affiliate network by which payments are made. In a single-tier affiliate marketing program, the affiliates are only paid based on the direct sales or traffic he has referred to the merchant. All the previously mentioned affiliate marketing types (i.e. PPS< PPL, and PPC) fall under the single-tier classification.
• In two-tier affiliate marketing programs, the affiliate is not only paid for the direct traffic or sales that he refers to the merchant’s site, but also on every traffic or sales referred by various other affiliates who joined the affiliate program through his recommendation. Multi-tier affiliate marketing works the same way, although the affiliate gets additional commission for a wider number of affiliates in different tiers in the affiliate network.
• Residual Income Affiliate Marketing
In residual income affiliate marketing, the affiliate gets paid not only once for every customer he has referred to the merchant’s site. Rather, the affiliate is also paid whenever the customer he has referred returns to the site and purchase another product. Compensation for such type of affiliate marketing is based on either sales percentage commission or fixed fee basis.
The different affiliate marketing types would virtually work differently for merchants and affiliates alike, and each would generally have their own list of benefits. Which type of affiliate marketing will work best for you? It is not really for me to tell. Rather, it is for you to choose which type of affiliate marketing program will suit your needs and characteristics best.

Most times, hair loss is explained in the context of genetics and a change in the hormonal balance of one’s body. However, hair loss can also be a symptom of an underlying disease or a result from a surgery.
Skin diseases that affect the scalp form one disorder that can result in hair loss. The nutrients, minerals and supplements are lost rapidly in the hair and scalp. With any of these skin diseases, it will usually cause hair loss either because of the effects from the immune system or because of the lack of nutrients that are not available from the disease.
Cancer, lupus or diabetes are other conditions that can cause your hair to fall out. Because the nutrients are not balanced in the body from these diseases, it may cause side effects or problems with hair loss. This is known as a side effect of an underlying problem that is more severe.
When you are losing hair from a surgery, it is usually either a side effect of the disease, or from excess stress that occurs from the surgery. This is especially known to be a problem if the surgery is major. In other instances, the hair loss may be a result of part of the surgical procedure, such as chemotherapy, which will cause temporary hair loss.
Knowing how your disease or the aftermath of a surgery can result in hair loss is important as it can mean that your falling hair may just be a temporary situation as you recover from a weakened immune system and body.
Once your body hormones begin to balance again and your organs are working optimally, hair will begin to grow back at a normal rate. Don’t worry excessively if your hair takes some time to grow. It takes time for the proteins and nutrients to take effect on your scalp and hair. In fact, a period of between four to six months is usually the case before you have a good amount of hair back on your head again.
If you are losing your hair because of a disease, then you can expect that the hair will grow back. In order to make sure that your hair grows back, you will need to take proper specific steps in order to remove toxins from your body and rebalance the hormones internally. In effect, your scalp and hair area will gain more nutrients and will have the ability to become healthy again. Over time, your hair loss will diminish and will grow back, despite the effects from any type of disease that has affected your body.

A Payday loan is a microscopic, short-term, high-rate loan. It’s also referred to as: cash advance loan, cheque advance loan, post-dated cheque loan, deferred deposit cheque loan or even cash loan.
Payday Loans are arranged for people in employment who find themselves in a situation where it is short of immediate funds.
A Payday Loan can help you in this situation with a low amount short term loan.
Loans are repayable on your next payday, but it is possible to renew your loan until subsequent paydays. To apply for a loan you must be in employment and have a bank account with a cheque book. A unfortunate credit rating or even debt history is initially not a problem.
Usually, a borrower writes a individual cheque payable to the lender for the amount he or even she wishes to borrow + a fee. The company gives the borrower the amount of the cheque minus the fee. Fees charged for payday loans are usually a percentage of the face value of the cheque or even a fee charged per amount borrowed.
The company agrees to hold the cheque until your next payday. At that time, depending on the particular project, the lender deposits the cheque, you redeem the cheque by paying the amount owed in cash, or even you roll-over the cheque by paying a fee to extend the loan for an additional 2 weeks.
A payday loan is incredibly handy if you find yourself a little short of funds at anytime. The virtually all obvious drawback of a Payday Loan is that they can be expensive. The interest rate varies from lender to lender so do shop around to find the best deal.
If you decide you must employ a payday loan, borrow only as much as you are able to afford to pay with your next pay cheque and however have enough to produce it to the next payday.
