The blogosphere has been jumping around the story like crazy but it seems the mainstream media are doing their best to ignore it. Yet it’s been branded the most extensive case of governing-level conspiracy plotting in ages. CNN spent very limited time on it and that’s also a pretty accurate indicator of the attention most other media outlets have devoted to it so far. Even though some 88 members of Congress openly inquired about it and a few other US opionion leaders spoke out against it. But that was it more or less. What was? A recently leaked internal UK government memo dated July 2002, that was so secret extra copies could not be made, not even for internal use.

What was in the document? The memo, obtained by journalists at the Times of London was headed: “SECRET AND STRICTLY PERSONAL - UK EYES ONLY”. The text that follows provides conclusive evidence confirming almost all the claims by anti-war protesters. However, it seems that since the official inquiries in the US and the UK are long finalized, officialdom does not really seem all too perturbed by the document’s contents, heavily publicized mainly in the alternative media.

The limited impact of the secret memo on the public debate is certainly deplorable, but it does not make the revelations any less valid. It reveals just how ill informed and how overly stage managed by the US administation the UK government really was before ‘deciding’ to go to war against Iraq. The most shocking part is that the UK decision makers were treating the matter of going to war as pretty much a decided fact, even if amongst themselves they were hardly agreed on the matter. Prime Minister Blair in the transcribed discussion even professed he had no clue as to whether a ground war would be legal at all.

This is a summary of the minutes of the meeting, drawn up from the document by Congressman John Conyers, and signed by 88 other congress members who demand answers about the pre-war deal between Great Britain and the United States as well as unassailable corroboration that pre-war intelligence was intentionally manipulated.

- British officials offered an assessment of the case for war as “thin.” The British Foreign Secretary at the time also stated that “Saddam was not threatening his neighbours, and his WMD capability was less than that of Libya, North Korea or Iran.”

- The Foreign Secretary indicated a plan was being hatched with Bush Administration officials to create justifications to go to war, where no legal basis currently existed. The United States and Great Britain “should work up a plan for an ultimatum to Saddam to allow back in the UN weapons inspectors. This would also help with the legal justification for the use of force.”

- British officials indicated that Bush administration officials had already decided to go to war in the summer of 2002 despite contemporaneous, and apparently false, statements by Bush
Administration officials that the President had not yet made such statement. One official stated that “[m]ilitary action was now seen as inevitable” and the British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw indicated that “Bush had made up his mind to take military action, even if the timing was not yet decided.” Yet, in August of 2002, within a month of this meeting, the President claimed he was still willing to “look at all options” and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld flatly stated that “[t]he president has made no such determination that we should go to war with Iraq.” (NYT, 8/22/02).

- A high ranking British official acknowledged the deliberate manipulation of intelligence,
indicating that, while the President “wanted to remove Saddam, through military action, justified by the conjunction of terrorism and WMD,” “the intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy.”

- The same official warned that the Bush Administration had no plan for post-war Iraq, stating that “[t]here was little discussion in Washington of the aftermath after military action.”

Congressman Conyers issued the following statement: “These allegations strike at the heart of our democracy and present the most troubling constitutional questions. Did the Administration lie to the American people about its intentions with respect to Iraq? Did the Administration engineer a confrontation with Saddam Hussein to justify the war? Did the Administration deliberately manipulate intelligence to deceive the American people about the strength of its case for war?” “These allegations - that the Bush Administration had already decided to go to war with Iraq, during a time when it was publicly stating that it had not — echo allegations by former Bush Administration officials, Paul O’Neill and Richard Clarke. When these officials brought these allegations forward they were slandered by Administration officials as lacking credibility. The source of these allegations - the British government itself - cannot be similarly assailed.”

So far, the going’s tough for the people who want to see their anti war arguments validated at long last by official documents many say they had a hunch about anyway. A blogger vervently following the situation in the US media is Robert Rouse who writes under the blog name http://Alittleleftofcentrist.blogspot.com and who reports even though the issue has been picked a little more each day, some mainstream media have yet to even comment on the issue, including CBS, ABC & Fox. “Maybe CBS is still gun shy after Rathergate. Disney still runs ABC, and Fox . . . well, we know Fox would defend Bush if he was caught in a human slaughterhouse wearing a butcher’s apron and holding a machete in one hand and the head of Alfredo Garcia (my apologies to the late Sam Peckinpah) in the other”, he writes.

The US congressman that actually did muster up the support for the official questions around the subject, writes that even though his action might come across as conspiracy theory-inspired, this is precisely defining the phenomenon. What’s more, he says, is that this is one of history’s most open conspiracies. “Why else would all the networks be ignoring this story? There is no way all the TV news organizations would ignore this story. Their silence is deafening. Surely they know about it. If this same thing had happened during the Clinton years, everyone would be all over it. Lying about an affair, so your wife doesn’t find out, can almost get you impeached. Plotting with another foreign government to overthrow a regime you don’t like, by means of “fixing” intelligence and facts around policy, will simply be ignored,” he says.

It might also be likely that the story would have been way bigger, had a US newspaper made the discovery. US government officials have hardly commented either. Earlier this week, White House press secretary Scott McClellan refuted allegations a conspiracy had existed. He insisted the process leading up to the decision to go to war had been “very public” — and that the decision to invade in March 2003 was taken only after Iraq refused to comply with its “international obligations.”

When former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore acted on principle and refused to adhere to a federal court order that he considered was both unlawful and improper, he never thought that his actions would lead to an overwhelming groundswell of support from across the country. His stance made headlines and brought international attention to this modern-day, David vs. Goliath showdown. Now, the same group of political and religious leaders that supported his actions then, are calling for Justice Moore to get back into the political arena and run for Governor of Alabama, where they believe his “no nonsense” approach and strong personal convictions will clean up a state known for its “good ole boy” politics and special interest groups.

Moore was forced off the bench in November 2003 for defying a Federal judge’s order to remove a Ten Commandments monument from public display in the state judicial building. The U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear the case on appeal.

Moore struck a nerve in the nation’s psyche as evidenced by the reactions of the public, both pro and con. Former senator, Zell Miller, flatly stated, “Throughout recorded history, brave men have been called on to stand take a stand–sometimes for country, sometimes for family, sometimes for the Lord above. Roy Moore is such a man.”

Former Ambassador to the United Nations and Presidential candidate, Alan Keyes, went even further when he was asked about his thoughts on Judge Moore, “There have been times in American history when the courage or understanding of one individual opened the door to the reform of major mistakes and injustices. When Chief Roy Moore refused the unlawful order of a Federal judge to remove the Ten Commandments from the Judicial Building in Alabama, he proved himself to be such an individual. We cannot yet know the full consequences of his principled stand . . . but it will be profound.” There were certainly statements to the contrary, voiced by the political left, but the ratio of detractors versus Moore fans was unbalanced in Moore’s favor, to say the least.

Roy Moore stood up yet again on another controversial issue when certain special interest groups tried to impose on the citizens of Alabama a significant additional tax called “Equity Funding,” referred to by many as The Billion Dollar Tax increase. Judge Roy Moore stood up to these special interest groups again when they tried to sneak by Amendment 2 in 2004 which would have given the courts the ability to raise taxes.

As a result of his outspoken position during speeches around the country, quiet back room discussions about a possible run for Alabama Governor started taking on a life of their own. A committee was formed to draft Judge Moore for Alabama State Governor. Judge Moore, upon hearing about the efforts of so many people to convince him to run, expressed an interest in the race, but is still officially undecided at this point. The Committee is being co-chaired by former Alabama State Senator Roy Smith of Gadsden, Alabama, and by George Hundley. George Hundley served as Judge Moore’s bailiff and personal assistant in the circuit court in Gadsden. The committee has been focusing on a petition drive, with the hope that enough signatures statewide and nationwide will successfully result in encouraging Judge Moore to make the decision to run.

The prospect of Judge Moore running for office became a national topic of interest when he visited the Fox studios, where he was questioned by Sean Hannity, of the highly popular Hannity and Combs show. Hannity asked Moore point blank about his interest in running and this now famous dialogue ensued:

HANNITY: All right. There is a lot of talk about you running for governor of the State of Alabama.

MOORE: There is a lot of talk. I’ve been asked many times to run, and I am seriously considering it. I’m praying about it, and I’ll make my decision sometime in the fall.

HANNITY: Has the door been opened for you?

MOORE: I think the door is open.

The show ended with Hannity asking Judge Moore to please come back to the show and reveal the answer as to whether he would, in fact, run.

For now, Moore continues to be showered by appeals by both statewide Republican officials and national leaders to throw his hat in the ring. He says he may decide as early as October on a run for Governor. Meanwhile, the current Republican Governor Bob Riley’s approval rating was low in a recent poll that showed him running behind both Moore and ex-Governor Don Siegelman in a 2006 re-election scenario.

United States Senator, Richard Shelby (R - Alabama), who has been a vocal supporter of Judge Moore, was very clear about Moore when he stated, “Former Chief Justice Roy Moore has raised critically important issues facing our country today regarding the acknowledgement of God. He reminds Americans that we cannot allow activist judges to continue their disregard of some of the basic principles on which our country was founded.”

In recent days, the volume has been rising steadily from other corners of the Republican party when Moore’s name is mentioned. Prominent conservative writer Ann Coulter recently stated, “In the face of all our travails, Americans can take hope that God has given us men like Roy S. Moore.” Similar statements were made by Oliver North, the host of “War Stories” on the Fox News Channel, when the topic of Moore’s faith was brought up: “Roy Moore is a proven fighter for his faith and freedom.”

The Draft Moore Campaign has taken a new turn recently as many Moore devotees started asking about how they could help out. Guides for Retailers

The regulations about marketing pearls are listed in the FTC’s Guides for the Jewelry, Precious Metals, and Pewter Industries. The guide is very specific about what retailers should call a pearl. Gems that are created when a mollusk is nucleated must be called “cultured pearls.” “Imitation pearls” are any product that is designed to look like a pearl. “Seed pearls” are a small pearl that measures less than 2 mm.

The FTC goes into specifics to help make sure consumers are protected from nuances between the differences in pearls and pearl products. “Cultured” or “cultivated” must always be used to describe cultured pearls.

Imitation pearls must be referred to as “simulated,” “artificial” or “imitation.” Terms like “faux pearl,” “mother of pearl” or “fashion pearl” cannot be used to describe an imitation pearl. The imitations also cannot be referred to as “part-cultured” or any other term that might mislead customers into believing they are cultured pearls. Imitations cannot be described as “real,” “precious” or “genuine.” They also cannot be described as “synthetic.”

More Guidelines

Only saltwater cultured pearls can be referred to as “Oriental pearls.” Any pearl described as South Sea pearls have to be from the areas generally known for that variety. Biwa cultured pearls have to be from lakes or rivers in Japan, but not necessarily Lake Biwa.

Because to be candidates for faceting the pearls have to be perfectly unblemished, perfectly round and thick nacre, the value of faceted pearls is double of a similar-quality pearl. Demand is particularly high in the United States.

Jewelers are required to tell consumers if a pearl product has been treated or dyed if it changes the value of the pearl, the pearl requires special care or if the treatment may not be permanent. That being said, most cultured pearls do undergo some sort of treatment before they hit the retail market.

More Guidelines

When choosing a retailer, consumers should be sure that they are following the FTC guidelines. Check to see if the pearls are referred to as “cultured pearls” Virtually every piece of pearl jewelry today is made from cultured pearls. If the retailer sells imitation pearls as well, be sure they are marked accordingly.

Many government agencies are quick to defend themselves, saying we are fixing the problem or this is a huge bureaucracy. Some arms control experts voice a variety of objections to
transferring PALS technology to Pakistan and other states. These
range from objections to the likelihood of Pakistan’s acceptance
of the program to political objections to the ramifications that
granting Pakistan PALS will have on other states that are
considering proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. While
there may be validity to some of these objections, the on
balance effect of a technology transfer program dealing with
PALS would be positive. A first objection made is that Pakistan
may be unwilling to accept an offer by the United States to give
them this technology (Global Security Newswire). The logic
behind this argument is that Pakistan would be unlikely to allow
the U.S. to have detailed access to its nuclear weapons sites.
Since PALS are usually an integrated part of the nuclear device,
it would require on-site assistance by the United States that
might discourage Pakistani acceptance. While Pakistan would
probably indeed have concerns about allowing the U.S. unlimited
access to its nuclear facilities, the PALS program could easily
be designed to assuage these fears. First, while the U.S. would
have to be involved in installing PALS on the Pakistani weapons,
this doesn’t require constant access to every Pakistani nuclear
weapons site. The installation would be a one-time procedure
that could be performed at any location Pakistan requested.
Additionally, if Pakistan refused even limited access to a
single site, Pakistani scientists could be trained to install
PALS themselves. While the technological specifications of PALS
are restricted from the general public to prevent efforts to
bypass the technology, giving the knowledge required to install
and operate them to another country wouldn’t compromise our
nuclear security. Many other countries such as France and Russia
already have U.S. PALS technology, and since the Pakistani
government already possesses nuclear weapons they have no real
incentive to try to access ours (Bellovin).

There are a few techniques required to use a watermark pad i.e. watermarking, embossing, chalking. As the first step involved is watermarking, you require a few things to make it and they are a Watermark pad, colored cardstock and stamp. You just stamp your image on the cardstock and it appears two times darker than the color of the cardstock. It helps shadowing of stamped images.

Embossing is the next technique that requires

Your image that has been stamped should be loaded to the watermark pad and sprayed with embossing powder. The excessive embossing powder should be placed back in jars. Provide heat to the image so that the powder turns liquid. After it has cooled down, you will see a raised image of yourself.

The last step that needs to be carried out is the chalking which can be done in three different ways. As per the first technique, load the stamp into a watermark pad and then apply it to a paper. Then smudge it with a chalk so that the image looks darker. The second method involves smearing the chalk on a piece of paper first and then loading the stamp and applying it to a chalk. The third technique makes the crevices of the words look darker. The entire surface should be covered using a metal tag with the watermark substances. This watermark is then covered with a black chalk. Using an eye shadow the surface is made darker.

I like to group colors, like having all the blues together. It is most important to always put the white in the same place.

Tips on Placing Your Painting Materials

I position the palette next to me - I am right handed so it is to the right. Then the tubes of acrylic paint to the rear of the palette. I use a reservoir palette that has a space for the brushes, but if I didn’t I would have the reservoir for the brushes to the right of the palette.

I store the dry, clean brushes I’m not using in a jam jar - with the brush handle ends down so that the tips do not get bent out of shape. This is to the far right of all the other equipment.

I place the water container(s) to the rear of the painting area but within easy reach. The paper towel is there too.

Be sure to cover the work surface as any acrylic paint that dries on it will be difficult or impossible to remove.

And my Top Tip is to put any drink on the opposite side - away from the palette and paint. Otherwise you will end up cleaning your brush in your drink - and believe me it won’t add to the flavor!

Then one of the old Jews, over hearing this, said, “I don’t revive the dead,” and with His finger, the Devil turned his flesh to fire, punishing him.

Charity mingled within his irises, (watching the camera crew), his flaming heart took pity on the two old Jews: walked like an angel in front of the multitude, and like a snake capturing the ecstasy of the kill to be, he wound himself around them, as if on a tree.

Breathlessly the old men, drenched with sweat, reverberating heart, heard the echoes from the Devil: “You, whom I once worshiped, beautiful and silent, because you turned from me, here is our corpse-worm! Now you’re boredom is brutalized, wake-up Almighty God!” he screamed and screamed this, up to the heavens. And then the Devil tightened his thighs, and the two Jews died….

And they all danced in a waving cadence, from the Middle East, to Europe, to the United Nations, saying: “The Jewish infection is dead, we have stopped the Messiah from coming, and we now are the kings of the land.” Then the earth trembled and cracked, likened to a swift sword, a sharp slice into her side; the whole earth shook in demise.

Said a voice far-off in the sky, “Be Thou! Damned to Hell! And for the Jew, Thou art worthy of our aid!” (And the clouds were filled with angelic beings.)

Henceforward, the Vampires of Hell (with scorpion tails, iron wings, and long she-phantom hair, drenched in the blood of hells-torment) filled the earth -a billion corpses lay side by side, stretched from Gog to Magog, in the Valley: there the blood reached seven feet high.

And the Lord of Lords saw all this, standing on high, saw the claws of Satan, pacing, like a lion, with metal and agate eyes (in full fledged passion), and the two old Jews likened to a-fire, crept under the sun, appeared to everyone, and then the Lord of Lords raised his hands, as all the Demon in all the lands, in fathomless despair, disappeared! (For a thousand years.)

Dos viejos judos
(Gusanos sobre el rbol)

(Avance: los dos viejos judos vinieron desde el mar, justo caminaron directo desde el mar un da, tal cual, haciendo milagros por doquier, para que el mundo los vea, y el Diablo vio esto y su demonios, dijeron: (”este no es… bueno”! y como gusanos sobre el rbol, ellos cayeron sobre los Judos…!)

“Cmo mataremos a estos dos viejos Judos”? dijo el Diablo, “esos narizones tontos, con cabezas de silo y todo”. (El estaba hablando por la Asamblea en las Naciones Unidas).

Dijo Agaliarept (El cmplice de Satn), el secretario General disfrazado “Es esta es una situacin, un problema?-de ser as, Cmo podemos apartarlos?

Cmo mataremos a estos dos viejos Judos?, dijo el demonio en reputacin; el viejo enemigo, ahora despiadado, discreto con dolor; por que ellos haban hecho varios milagros y haban difamado su nombre.

“drgalos; hazles adormecer sus almas, todava, como un barco hundido en un canal dijo el Secretario General, plido y acalorado.

“Cualquiera puede decir que ellos tienen tripas! Dijo el demonio en desesperacin, pero tocar sus almas yo no me atrevo…

Ah! Ellos eran hombres desesperados, con dientes rotos, tratando de masticar algo que ellos no podran comer. Estaban hambrientos de ponerlos a ellos dentro de tumbas redimidos, Dios no lo evitara, también..

Los dos viejos Judos, solo miraron al demonio como si el tuviera mano de paja-llevando implcito una corona sobre su cabeza- digo- el demonio con una sangrante, sufrida mente palpitante, venenosa. Con odio, cejas levantadas: piel olorosa de animal, un gemido de muerte, hechiceras: voy a matarlos.

Entonces uno de los viejos Judos, habiendo odo esto, dijo, “yo no resucito a los muertos”. Y con su dedo, el diablo gir su carne para encenderlo, castigndolo.

La caridad mezclada dentro de sus iris, (mirando el equipo de cmara), su corazn ardiente se compadeci de estos dos viejos judos: andando como un ngel delante de la multitud, y como una serpiente capturando al éxtasis de ser la muerte, el se enrollo alrededor de ellos, como sobre un rbol.

Jadeando los ancianos, empapados con el sudor, retumbando el corazn, oyeron los ecos del Diablo: ” Usted, a quien yo una vez venere, hermoso y silencioso, debido a que usted se aparto de mi, aqu esta nuestro cadver-agusanado! -Ahora usted, el aburrimiento es brutalizado, despierta Dios Todopoderoso!” él grit y grit esto, hasta el cielo. Y luego el Diablo apret sus muslos, y los dos judos murieron.

- y ellos todos bailaron en una cadencia agitadora, del Oriente Medio, a Europa, a las Naciones Unidas, diciendo: ” La infeccin juda est muerta, hemos parado la llegada del Mesas y ahora somos los reyes de la tierra. ” Entonces la tierra tembl y se raj, comparada con una espada rpida, una rebanada aguda en su lado; la tierra entera sacudida en fallecimiento.

Dijo una voz lejana en el cielo, ” Seas tu! Condenado al infierno! Y para el judo, “Tu arte es digna de nuestra ayuda”! (Y las nubes estuvieron llenas de seres angelicales.)

De ah en adelante, los Vampiros de Infierno (con colas de Escorpin, alas de hierro, y el pelo largo de la-fantasma, mojado en la sangre de los tormento del infierno) llenaron la tierra-un billn de cadveres recostados de lado a lado, estirado desde Gog a Magog, en el Valle: all la sangre alcanz siete pies de alto.

Y el Seor de Seores vio todo esto, estando de pie sobre alto, vio las garras de Satn, paseando, como un len, con ojos de metal y de gata (en pasin llena emplumada), y los dos viejos judos comparados a un fuego, se arrastraron bajo el sol, apareciéndose a cada uno, y luego el Seor de Seores levant sus manos, como todo el Demonio en todas las tierras, en la desesperacin incomprensible, desapareci! (Durante mil aos.)

Aqu esta una historia en prosa poética, de los futuros tiempos bblicos, esto no esta solamente presagiado en la Biblia, sino traducida por el autor en 1984, sin poner dentro de un formato hasta ahora, talvez este es el tiempo correcto para esto también.

Los Viejos y la muerte

Cuando mi madre muri, era como apagar una vela, casi como si ella estuviera lista para unas vacaciones. Cuando la muerte venga, espero que sea simple para m; quizs la vida sea mucho ms difcil que el morir, en aquel momento (el tiempo y el lugar) para ella; Cristo estando en su rincn, ella se sinti mucho ms salvada, ella quiso ir-, ella solamente no estaba segura si ella tuviera suficiente viento para volar-, para apagar la vela. As, demuestra: los viejos y la muerte son ms sabios.

Sonnet to War,
Trampled Bones

Calm is the day, with clouds full of angels

Heaven is greatly troubled. I, just me,

See the winds shifting and the cross thrown.
Where once the world bowed, to praise the Lord.
Now all I hear are sounds of death and war.

No more boundaries, for the world are shown.
The feet of armies march on human bones.

Yea! Thus, barks the deep: entrenched troubled heart.

Voices from afar, and across the seas,

Above the heavens satellites: watching!
From ocean to ocean (unspoken) ships depart
From horizon to sunset, thus, go in search

(The dust descending, dim and grave species)
Whose hearts foretell of death, not of birth…!
