Viral Marketing is allowing people to giveaway and use your free product or service in order to multiply your marketing quickly over the internet. The idea behind viral marketing is that you include your ad with the freebie people giveaway or use. Below are ten high impact viral marketing strategies:
1. Allow people to reprint your articles on their web site, in their e-zine, newsletter, magazine or ebooks. Include your resource box and the option for article reprints at the bottom of each article. Example: We give away all articles at http://www.20six.de/secura and http://www.20six.de/secura1
2. Allow people to use any of your freebies as free bonuses for products or services they sell. Include your ad on all your freebies. Example:You can download Domainchecker at
http://www.domainregistry.de/domainchecker.txt
3. Allow people to use your online discussion board for their own web site. Some people don’t have one. Just include your banner ad at the top of the board.
4. Allow people to sign up for a free web site on your server. Since you are giving away the space, require them to include your banner ad at the top of the site.
5. Allow people to add their link to your free web site directory. Just require that they return a link back to your web site, advertising your directory.
6. Allow people to provide your free online service to their web site, visitors, or e-zine subscribers. They could be free e-mail, e-mail consulting, search engine submissions, etc. Example:You can download http://www.domainregistry.de/submission.html
7. Allow people to give away your free software. Just include your business advertisement inside the software program.
8. Allow people to give away your free web design graphics, fonts, templates, etc. Just include your ad on them or require people to link directly to your web site.
9. Allow people to place an advertisement in your free ebook if, in exchange, they give away the ebook to their web visitors or e-zine subscribers.
10. Allow people to give away your free ebook to their visitors. Then, their visitors will also give it away. This will just continue to spread your ad all over the internet. Example: You can download the ebooks at http://www.domainregistry.de/ebooks.html —-

Using a website to make money online has become one of the most popular ways nowadays. There are several ways you can make money with website:
a) Sell your own products and services.
b) Sell other people’s stuff (affiliate program).
c) Place Google ads on your website and earn whenever someone clicks a Google ad.
The first and second ways take a lot of time and require experience and knowledge of Internet marketing. The third option is much easier and quicker to make money online. To place Google ads on your website you need to first join Google AdSense program. You don’t need a professional look or fantastic site to sign up with Google AdSense program. A clean and simple site will be good enough.
You can write a topic or subject that is related to your experience, area of expertise, interest or background for your website. If you are an expert at something you can make your content valuable and useful to others by providing advice and educational resources. If your interest and hobby are sport cars, you may introduce the latest models of sport cars and discuss some of the best tools for building the sports cars.
If you have no idea of what topic to write or have no interest at all in writing something, you still can own a money making AdSense site. Your solution is create a website solely to publish articles written by different authors. Just choose one topic or more and put several relevant articles for each topic and place your Google ads on each article page.
Build an AdSense site with minimum cost
Hiring a professional to build a site is expensive. Finding a freelancer to create a website will be much cheaper. However employing a freelancer is still not the most effective way to minimize your cost. The best way to minimize cost is use free website builder to create website. There are several free website builders allow users to build website without experience and technical knowledge. You can find these easy site builders by performing a search from the major search engines like Google and Yahoo. With site builder you can have a website or more absolutely free. You only pay for the domain name and website hosting.
Once you get your website launched. You’ll need to figure out how to drive visitors to your website. Your website will not generate income if no one visits your site. There are several ways to get targeted visitors/traffic to your site fast.
Pay-per-click (PPC) programs
Pay-per-click (PPC) programs allow you to bid for top-ranking positions on the keywords you have selected. When a visitor searches the keyword(s) you bid on and then click through to your site, you pay the amount you bid. The two most popular PPC programs are Google Adwords and Yahoo Search Marketing. However it is costly to advertise on this two PPC search engines and probably you will face the problem of your AdSense earning can’t cover the advertising cost. Fortunately, there are other alternatives such as Bidvertiser.com, Adbrite.com, Findology.com and so on. I recommend you advertise with Bidvertiser.com and Adbrite.com at the beginning as they are much cheaper to advertise with compare to Google Adwords and Yahoo Search Marketing. Bidvertiser.com and Adbrite.com are not search engine. When you sign up to advertise with them, they will distribute your contextual ads to the categories and websites within their network of your choice. You have no doubt will advertise on those categories and high traffic sites related to you website. You should also consider select those unrelated categories as well because these categories could send you targeted visitors and increase your AdSense revenue. Don’t set your bid too high. Just anyway from 6 cents to 9 cents should be good enough to drive hundreds of targeted visitors to your site within few days. As long as the daily AdSense earning greater than the daily advertising cost, you can continue your ad campaigns.
RSS advertising
RSS advertising is a free away to gain more exposure for your website. By creating an RSS file and submitting it to those RSS directories and search engines, the links to the content in your website will appear in front of those who read information using RSS readers or news aggregators and as a result driving targeted visitors to your website. Need more explanations? You can go to Google and enter the search term ‘make an RSS feed’. You will find detailed explanations of RSS and step-by step instructions on how to create an RSS file to increase your website traffic. Be patient, it will take you several days to learn and understand RSS. Some RSS sites also show an easy option to make RSS file without knowledge of HTML code by using free software tools.
Give away free content
Another free way to increase your website traffic is write articles and submit them to free content websites. Your articles can drive thousands of visitors to your site within weeks if your content is impressive.
There are other effective ways to increase traffic for your website. You can find a ton of free information and resources about website marketing and promotion from search engines. The more traffic you can drive to your website the higher your AdSense earning will be.

Ever wondered what it would be like to have a goose that lays
golden eggs? Well, if you thought such stuff happens only in
fairy tales, think again!
Now before you get carried away in your own curious thoughts,
let me tell you that the magical goose I’m talking about is your
list of subscribers or your contact list…
That’s right, a list of targeted subscribers can be that
precious and be equal to a goose that lays golden eggs. Your own
contact list has the potential to earn you money on demand and
building one makes sure that you never run out of money.
Feed Your Goose Well
You can’t have a weak goose, which rarely lays any eggs. That’s
the very reason you’ll have to feed it well enough so that it
can becomes big and strong and lays a lot more golden eggs.
Practically speaking, you have to feed your list with quality
content on a regular basis to get the results you want. The
people on your list are looking for original information.
Information they won’t find anywhere else but from you.
They don’t want old rehashed info, which can be easily found all
over the web. They want something that is of value and would
help them in achieving something.
And like most of the people, if you’re thinking that you don’t
possess any writing skills and you cant write, then my friend -
you’re absolutely wrong! You don’t have to be writer to write
your own content online.
Believe me, it really doesn’t matter even if you haven’t written
a single paragraph by yourself before. You don’t need a PhD. in
literature and it’s alright if you’ve flunked English in high
school. If you can talk, then you can write!
The only rules are no copying and absolutely not plagiarizing.
Be original, be witty, be educative and try to give them all you
can. It’s that simple!
Now, do I hear anyone saying I can’t write?
Build a Relationship With Your Goose
You have to concentrate on building an undying relationship with
your list. By offering quality content you form a strong
relationship with them, which will definitely pay off handsomely
in the future. Because when you create a worthy relationship
with them, you start to gain your subscribers trust. Which is by
the way the hardest thing to gain online.
With time, your readers began to see you as an expert in your
field and start to trust you more than the other guys in your
field. Any advice given by you will carry a mark of importance
and would never be ignored by them.
So basically, it’s extremely important that you gain a lot of
trust and familiarity with your subscriber list, if you want to
make money from it. People always buy from someone they know and
have faith in and not from someone who tries to sell them. No
one likes to be sold but everyone wants to be recommended.
Everyone wants to be helped out.
Don’t Kill Your Goose!
Even though it all seems so perfect, the biggest mistake most of
the inexperienced marketers commit is they cut open and kill
their goose expecting to find a lot more gold inside.
What I mean by killing your goose is, dont kill your list by
sending too many offers promoting everything under the sun.
Trying to sell too many products too soon would literally
suffocate your list.
Your list has the potential to make you thousands of dollars for
years, treat it like you treat someone special. Treat it with
respect and dignity and help your subscribers as much as much as
you can.
So there you have it, your own goose that lays golden eggs. Just
treat it with respect, feed it well and dont even think of
cutting it. That’s all you need to do to make all the gold you
want!

“Here’s A Quick and Simple Way To Find Hot Niche Markets”
In This Article You’ll Learn..
* How To Increase Your Chance For Success 100 Fold
* Why Using One Keyword Is Better Than Using A Phrase
* How To Let The Market Place Come To You
* Finding PPC Ads For As Little As 5 Cents Per Click
Dear Online Business Owner,
Have you been finding it extremely difficult building your online business, and trying to grow your list?
Well, if you have, then I’ve got a solution that’s going to make building up your web business as fast, and simple as can be.
Before you do anything else, you need to first find a hot niche market that you know something about and can get involved with, without spending months of your time doing research.
Never build, create, or try to sell anything until you find an existing niche market first.
I can’t stress this enough. To many people start with an idea, then they go and try to find or create a market for their idea.
This is totally the wrong way to do it. Find a hot niche market first, then create a product that niche market is looking for.
Your chance of success will then increase by 100 fold!
Find That Hot Niche
Now, let’s find that hot niche your looking for…
Go to the “Overture Keyword Selector Tool” here:
http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/
Type in “one” word that summarizes your area of interest you want to get involved with.
It could be cars, homes, boats, fishing, whatever, just focus on one word for the moment.
This will bring up a giant list of search phrases that people are using that word in. The key here is to find a hot niche market that you know something about, and is of interest to you.
Rather than trying to focus your efforts on long search phrases, and hoping people are searching for those phrases, use your main keyword (one word), and let the market come to you.
The search tool will show you what people are searching for, and this will save you hours of messing around.
Enter your single keyword, and click the search button, and let’s find a hot niche market.
So, to do that, click on the phrase that matches as close to your area of interest as possible. This will in turn bring up even tighter “niche” phrases.
Depending on how large the search terms turn out to be, this could be done several times.
Let’s Look At An Example
Let’s look at an example:
A search for “boat” brings up the phrase “boat online trader”, and at the time of this writing, there are 6944 searches for that phrase every 60 days.
That means that there are approximately 115 searches every day for this phrase.
The tighter the phrase, the better, but you also want to try and stay in the range of 3000+ searches performed every 60 days as a rule of thumb.
Also at the time of this writing, there was only one Google ad running for this search phrase, so that means you could start running ads right now for as little as 5 cents per click!
Can you say Cha-Ching!..?
Okay, so maybe you know nothing about boats or boat trading and selling, but I’ll guarantee you someone does. And, that someone could take this market and really do something with it.
Start a boat trader newsletter, and start building a list of super targeted boat buyers, sellers, and traders, and you have a buying niche market in the palm of your hands.
That’s gold!
Now all you have to do is some simple market testing to make sure that this market is going to produce the results you want.
If it does, then start putting together a powerful website, and newsletter list, and start giving these people want they are looking for. Information!
Now that you know how to find super hot niche markets, go search with single keywords that are of interest to you, and see what you can find to start building your hot online business with today.
To Your Success,
Patrick

Are we lost in history?
by Judy Camp
(c) http://ourbusinessoffice.com
We are in a decade with no name. Most of us lived through
the 70s, the 80s, the 90s — and now where are we? The 00s?
Sounds like a mistake. Uh-Oh, I goofed. The 2000s? That name
will eventually mean a hundred years of time, until the
2100s take over.
What did they do about this dilemma in past centuries?
I recall the history books referring to “the early 1900s,”
which generally means 1900-1920, encompassing two decades.
Within that time, references often state something like,
“around 1910.”
Not very specific. So what does this mean? And who cares,
you might ask. Well, we all like to identify trends. Not
just the history buffs, but all of us. We like our time
in history to be known for something.
The trend among teenagers and fashion moguls is 70s retro.
Choker necklaces, crop tops, and hip hugger, bleached-out
jeans are in style, just like in the 70s. The 70s were known
for this trend, among other things. What will this time be
known for? Will the history books say, “In the early 2000s,
there was a strong 70s retro trend.” Yawn!
Now, you might ask, what is this article doing in a marketing
ezine? Well, if anyone is better than history buffs at
analyzing trends, it’s marketers. We need to continually
check the pulse of our audience to make sure we have
up-to-date products, and our campaigns will be well received.
We also need to make sure we are placing ads where our
audience will see them.
The science of media buying encompasses a huge range today,
including newspapers, magazines, TV, radio, billboards,
trade shows and the internet, primarily. Many statistics
and research graduates, the ones who don’t teach, end up
working for companies that compile huge amounts of data.
These are looked at by marketing professionals and the media
themselves. For a research resource guide, click on the
following link: http://www.ourbusinessoffice.com/adresearch.html
It’s our job as marketers to keep our eyes on who is buying
what. If your products go out of style, or the radio station
you run commercials on changes its format, and you don’t react,
you could go out of business, and not even know why.
So watch the trends, and keep your eyes open for changes.
Years from now, when you write your glorious company history,
you can write about your success in the early 2000s, rather
than referring to them as the 00 years.

Have you been searching for free ways to market your business online and generate your own business leads? Here are some proven methods to get your business growing.
1) Yahoo Groups – Yahoo offers a huge database of groups with a wide variety of topics and discussions. Search for groups which allow advertising and that fit the demographics
for your opportunity or products. If you are a stay at home mom and your goal is to market your products or opportunities to other like minded moms, search Yahoo Groups for groups using keywords, such as; stay at home moms, work at home moms, direct sales, home party plan, mom business, etc.
Note: When you join these groups be sure to follow their advertising guidelines. Some you can advertise freely in, others limit it to a certain day or days per week.
Keeping that in mind, also join groups that don’t allow advertising but provide a valuable networking opportunity. Join the discussions and use your signature line as your promotion. Most will allow this form of advertising when they don’t allow outright posting of ads.
There are also many MSN groups and now Google has started Google Groups, however, my research has found Yahoo Groups to still rank as the best.
2) Message Boards - Many websites offer a forum to post your business information or provide networking opportunities. There are many wahm and stay home mom type boards that you can post to, as well as, home business, and network marketing type forums. Do not spam a board if there is no ad forum. Again, join the discussions and let your signature line be your promotion. You will receive business leads from the people you meet here!
Now if your product is, for example a cooking related product, you should definitely search for forums and message boards that fit this product, such as a recipe swap forum.
Search keywords on Google and Yahoo to find forums that are appropriate for your business and products you are marketing. AOL also has boards too as does MSN.
Ryze is another great networking site with boards. There are newer sites like MySpace and Direct Matches that offer a different spin on a site like Ryze, however, I have had most success with Ryze so far.
3) Traffic Exchanges - I am not big on these, but I know others who swear by them. Most are free to join. One of the biggest and oldest is Traffic Swarm. You can do a search for traffic exchanges to find others. Business leads are naturally generated through this type of service.
4) Safelist – Safelists that are managed properly, can be a good and free marketing venue. The key is finding a good one. Do a search on keywords; work at home safelist, home business safelist, mom safelist, etc. Again, search for keywords that fit your targeted market. This is yet another source of business leads.
5) Pay Per Click Advertising – While not free, this can be an affordable and inexpensive advertising option depending on the keywords you select. You don’t have to go with the most obvious keyword as it will likely be the most expensive. Do a search for keywords that are less costly with the Overture keyword tool (mainly used for Yahoo, but I use it to get an idea for Google too).
You control the amount you spend and can set a daily budget when doing pay per click.
Here is the keyword selector tool:
http://inventory.overture.com/d/
searchinventory/suggestion/
6) Keyword Search - Another trick is to type in the keyword you are interested in on a search engine and see which websites rank high in the search. If those are sites that offer ad space, search to see what their ad options are. Some will be affordable and some can be quite expensive depending on their traffic. Again, not free, but many sites offer very inexpensive advertising options.
I suggest you ask for an average idea of their traffic before advertising, especially if it is expensive. Ask for an average month of page views or unique visitors…not hits. Hits are of little value and do not indicate the true traffic of a website. Most reputable webmasters will respond with their stats. Of course keep in mind we can’t see them so we have to rely on their quote. I have found most webmasters to be honest.
FYI - There are lots of mom type sites who offer advertising under $10 bucks a month depending on the type of ad you place.
Well, I hope this gets you started and gives you some ideas of ways to market and grow your business online.
To your success in generating your own business leads!

Everyone is talking about RSS. Blogs, newsites and the like are putting those little orange RSS link thingies all over their sites. What’s all the hype about?
Okay, email will always have its purpose in life. But many people are realizing that RSS is an excellent alternative to email for newsletters or other mass-distribution lists.
Here are three HUGE advantages of RSS over Email:
1) RSS is totally spam-proof.
It cannot be blocked by any spam filter no matter what! Because RSS is a web page, you simply cannot block it. I like to think of it like the difference between a telemarketer and a TV commercial.
A telemarketer can initiate the call, just like anyone can send an email. Any unwelcome message or phone call can be filtered or screened, but there is always that chance that something important will be deleted! So the end result is that it still takes your time and effort to filter email or screen calls, and there still is no guarantee that your efforts will be 100% accurate!
A TV viewer on the other hand must turn on the TV and find a channel first, just like an RSS feed must be entered into an RSS Reader. It is totally at the viewer’s discretion. If you ever get sick of a TV channel, you can change it immediately, just like you can delete an RSS Feed!
2) RSS eliminates all fear of being spammed.
Think of how many more subscribers you could have to your newsletter if your website visitors had NO FEAR about being spammed by you! People by nature do not trust you the first time they meet you, and on the internet it is even worse.
Why would they give out their closely guarded email address to you?
Of course some will, but you have to make the deal pretty sweet in order to convince them.
But what about the people who are just curious, and can’t make it over that hurdle to part with their address?
By delivering your newsletter or mini-course content over an RSS Feed, you both win!
Visitors can take a spectator approach without fear of getting spam, and you have a way to establish regular contact with your visitors in the same way email can!
3) No more clogged email servers!
Sending a message to a large list can really bog down your mail server and can take a long time. If your list has 100,000 email addresses, you are basically telling your mail server to establish a connection with 100,000 different servers immediately! Some web hosts even limit the number of messages you can send.
With RSS, you can avoid mail servers altogether! Downloading an RSS Feed is no different than downloading a web page. While this does place a slightly extra burden on your webserver, it is minimal since it is spread out over time and it only has to deliver a page whenever one is requested, not all at once.
Spam could eventually become a thing of the past for mass-distribution lists and autoresponders.
I think it’s just a matter of time!

If you are a REALTOR focused on residential sales who distributes a monthly email newsletter, ask yourself: “Is my distribution list growing?” And more importantly, “Is my newsletter accomplishing what I wish it to?”
You already recognize that an email newsletter is an effective marketing tool to help to increase sales. Regular communication with clients and prospects is essential to increase your revenues over time. But if the results are not living up to your expectations, step back and ask yourself, “How can I improve my newsletter to increase its readership and drive more sales?” Perhaps you need to make your content more compelling or to use your newsletter in a more engineered fashion.
The marketing goals for your newsletter should be: 1) to consistently present yourself as a knowledgeable expert to whom readers can trust their real estate matters, and 2) to bring prospective clients to your Website where they can view your listings, be reminded of your realty’s programs for buyers and sellers, and to see your latest promotional offers.
To retain and expand readership, your newsletters must present information of value to its intended audience. It must provide specific data beneficial to homeowners in the geographical area in which your marketing efforts are concentrated.
Some newsletters provide general “home fix-it” information, national statistical data or news on community events as their main content. There is a place for that, but this should be used sparingly. You are more likely to create a growing client base if your newsletter talks to a homeowner’s wallet. Some suggestions to help make your real estate newsletter a “must read” item are:
1. Highlight a section on home values in the local area. People always want to know how their main asset (i.e., their home) is faring. Create this from MLS data sorted by zip code, then drill down to find recent sales and listings within your farming area. Show average time on market for the latter. Ideally, present this data in a graphical summary (which is easy to do using Microsoft Excel), but require the reader to branch to your website for the detailed information.
2. Using the above information, offer a tool on your Website to quickly provide a “ballpark” estimate of market value based on the latest average dollars per square foot for sales in the targeted area. Be sure to include disclaimers (e.g., “This is a rough estimate only. Actual value will vary based on location, lot size, amenities and upgrades. Contact us for a FREE competitive market analysis”).
3. Identify new developments and local trends that are expected to impact future home values.
4. If you work for a full-service realty, include financial information and services, emphasizing homeowner benefits.
Your newsletter should be a vehicle for driving prospects to your Website where pertinent offerings are presented. The best way to do this is to provide compelling article lead-ins or summaries that direct your readers (“Click here for complete article”) to your Website for the rest of the story. Make sure that once the article on the destination Webpage has been consumed, other enticing choices (e.g., “See Featured Listing” or “Sign up to win a FREE digital camera”) are available to encourage readers to explore the Website.
In short, think through the entire process, from your newsletter to the ultimate path you wish the reader to follow on your Website. If you approach it in this manner, viewing your newsletter as but one component of a marketing machine, then over time you will be rewarded with expanded sales.

The AutoResponder is fantastic and effective for increasing traffic to your website. It helps you save valuable time with its automated response function: emails concerning frequently-asked questions about a service/product or sending a greetings and welcome letter to new subscribers to your program/service. It helps to track the effectiveness of each and every one of your promotions.
The Autoresponder, in short, is an invaluable tool in your business. As one of the most popular marketing tools available on the Internet today, it is used a lot by different types of businesses and websites. However, this great tool is not always used in a proper manner. Below are some rules and regulations to observe:
1. Avoid Flooding: Do not use an AutoResponder Address when submitting to Search Engines
Search Engines like Google and Yahoo!, directories, classified, and free-for-all sites commonly use AutoResponders. Were you to use your AutoResponder to contact these companies, their AutoResponders will reply to yours, then yours to theirs, and so on and so on. This situation would create a cycle of autoresponses that would flood your respective email boxes!
2. Common Courtesy: Do not use an AutoResponder to subscribe to Ezines or Discussion Forums
As Ezines send updates and new information regularly to subscribers, your Autoresponder would respond with a message each and every time. In a Discussion Forum, each person in that Forum will receive our auto response. This can cause a lot of irritation all round, and most of the time you will be unsubscribed. It is often very difficult for the Forum/Ezine administrators to determine who is using the autoresponse.
3. Do not use an Autoresponder to Take Advantage Of Unsuspecting Individuals
Some unethical companies make use of AutoResponders to respond to automated messages; when this happens, the email address in the ‘from’ field is automatically subscribed to their mailing list. The unsuspecting individuals start getting unasked-for mail and many are fed-up of this as this happens very regularly. Companies that do this, rather than promoting their business properly, create for themselves a very negative image. Remember, bad publicity spreads faster than good.
The Internet is a fantastic arena in which to do business, local, national and international and AutoResponders are simply a great way to save valuable time doing repetitive tasks. However, when used in an unprofessional way, and without regard for your chosen victim-recipients, it will only cause much aggravation and frustration in un-requested-for barrages of emails. You and your company will only stand to lose goodwill and business. Appropriate use can lead to massive amounts of business. Misuse it, and you get…the opposite.

Want an online business with a win-win opportunity for both the merchant and the publisher? Try investing your money, time and effort in affiliate marketing business and be overwhelmed by the profit you’ll get out of it. However, let me just remind you that it also has its downside. The old adage that says nothing in this world is perfect is also true in online marketing business. And that’s the reason why this page is created - to give you the affiliate marketing pros and cons.
Let’s start with the pros.
To the Merchant. Affiliate marketing offers the merchant a wider place to sell their product and services. More websites will naturally provide you more customers and will create more sales. This is particularly true if the sites that you have chosen are in their niche marketing.
The only thing that’s left for the merchant to do is to look for affiliate sites where your merchandise is a good fit and where your target customers usually visit. Another advantage that a merchant can get from affiliate marketing is that they can gain more and more customers without spending valuable time in searching out for them. The banner ads on your affiliate website might draw interest and drive the visitor to click on your website. Also, different consumers coming from various websites can provide the merchant a good idea regarding consumer trends and demands.
To the Affiliate Marketer. This kind of business has proved to be an easy way to create additional income for their website. The marketing banners that they stuffed under content help in making their site look good. And these banners may create instant sales wherein, they can get a commission.
Above all, the affiliate can have extra income from his or her website without investing something in making his own product and without worrying about customer support, book keeping, and ecommerce. Here in affiliate marketing, the merchant handles it all. The affiliate just needs to promote and resell the product.
To the Customers. The benefit that a customer could get out of affiliate marketing is obvious – they get an answer to their problem that they may not have found without the help of the affiliate’s website. That’s if, and only if the merchandise or service gives what it says it will.
That’s how advantageous affiliate marketing is. But lets be aware that this online business also have some disadvantages. Just like any other businesses, this one also involves shady and even illegal practices. And we feel the need to share it with you.
To the Advertisers/Merchants. The merchant may suffer from high commission costs as well as costly set up and maintenance fees that are usually caused by lots of affiliate facilitators. And sometimes the affiliates engage in false advertising and misleading the customer in order to get commission. This means that some affiliates sometimes make claims and promises regarding the product and services which are completely wrong or they extremely exaggerate it. When this happen, the merchant usually suffers complaints and they definitely lose potential consumer.
To the Publisher/Affiliates. Sometimes unscrupulous and dishonest merchants just close down programs without informing the affiliates. And worse, they leave without paying commissions. There are also some merchants who attract new affiliates by promising high commissions then after a week or two, they dramatically drop those commission rates. Aside from that, when hijackers interfere, affiliates typically don’t get just commission, it goes to the hijacker instead.
Moreover, the shady and illegal practices involved in this kind of business include false advertising, unlawful use of trade names, logos, or other branding, spamming and hijacking.
In spite of those disadvantages, affiliate marketing is still considered as one of the best ways to make money online. We just have to understand that in any thing that human do, especially if money is involved, there will always be cheaters and people who will be engaged in illegal means. And you shouldn’t be one of them. Keep in mind that it is always right and advisable to act ethically and legally; work hard to make your customers and business partners trust you and always see to it that you go beyond your customer’s expectations.
